[ Simon was definitely not expecting to end up living with someone. He's never really lived alone, not in a traditional sense. He was basically raised in an asylum so there were always people even when he was alone. And then when he got out, there were people who were around to do his bidding as he tried to save the world. Here is the first time that he had been actually responsible for taking care of himself in most of ways.
He was managing.
He was not particularly sure what to do with something upending that. There's an extended quiet as he tilts his head and studies her. It's probably clear he's not particularly normal by any traditional means. ]
Hello. [ He won't say it's a pleasure because, well, it's not. ]
[She isn't sure what it is but there is something about Simon that's different. Other's might describe it as being off or unsettling but to her, it's simply new. Soft baby blue eyes study Simon for a few silent seconds before attempting to speak again.]
Hi. [She smiles, her gaze flicking around the room.] It looks like there is only one bed. I can sleep on the couch if you want. I'll make sure everything is clean.
[Her voice doesn't change inflection or tone. She doesn't look like she's bothered about his attitude.]
Thank you but I'll try and stay out of the way. [She'll likely clean up regularly as well as keep the kitchen stocked with food. She's used to taking care of at least one other person and she'll likely try and do that for Simon or anyone else she meets.]
[The confusion is mutual but she doesn't seem to mind. Being confused is a common state for the young angel and she's learned to keep going despite her uncertainties.]
I purchased some things that looked good at the market. I was thinking I could make meat balls and noodles. [A little girl had once told her that it's the meal of champions.] Do you mind if I ask a little about you and your time here?
[She steps towards the kitchen, glancing over her shoulder as she spoke.]

I don't mind tidying things up.
Are you alright?

I don't care about the bed. You can do as you wish. [ He's really not good at the people thing yet. Alex is trying to make him work on it. ]
I'm fine.

Are you hungry?
I can make us something to eat.

You are welcome to ask me things as well.
