[ Simon had not bilocated to the meeting spot -- though he had been sorely tempted to. It makes for a quicker exit if need be really but he probably shouldn't just pop up out of nowhere if he's trying to be normal.

Being normal is hard because he's mostly not sure what that entails.

He's dressed in the usual all black, minus the hoodie since he's wearing long sleeves instead. ]

[So yeah, his attempts at his game don't end so well.

He doesn't seem too torn up about it, though, turning to look with mild embarrassment in Simon's direction. And maybe a smidge of caution. Because, like. You know. The guy is still from an asylum. It pays to be wary until you know a guy.]

[ it’s always good to be wary even when you do know a guy. Simon knew Strand — better than Strand was aware of and he was still wary of him. He’s not so wary of Alex but he also thinks she’s literally the savior of the world.

Simon is cautious meeting Peter. He seems a lot like Alex, though. So, at least there’s that. But Simon wasn’t normal with Alex either. He was constantly bilocating still to keep an eye on her despite some people’s classification of that as stalking. You never know when demons or demon cultists will show up after all. ]

I guess. You lost? [ his expression is hard to read if you don’t know him, a mask of neutral ness most of the time. ]

I like to think of it more like "I won for a while", which is totally legit.

[ Simon, of course, thinking that the end is all that matters. It helps when you have a ends justify the means type attitude to... most things. ]

And yes, he knows that he's leading a dude from an asylum to a temper-testing machine, but like, he's Spider-Man. He's not too worried about his own safety here.]

The hardest? I suppose that is one good way to start.

[ Simon's far too calculating to lose his temper. The only time he'd seemed to had been for very intentional reasons. A means to an end. ]

[Peter will be pretty damn impressed when he doesn't lose his temper. Pete himself doesn't lose his temper, per se, but he sure does huff and puff and quit by throwing his hands up in defeat.

[ Simon questions? Giving up on things is not his forte and at the least he probably won't lose his temper over something he is pretty sure won't matter.
